Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using the Stay Fit website and mobile app. They are written to match how Stay Fit works today: a free, offline-first workout tracker with no account required.

Last updated August 15, 2026

Please read these terms before using Stay Fit. By using the website or app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and Stay Fit (“Stay Fit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to the Stay Fit mobile application, the gostay.fit website, and related content and services (together, the “Service”).

You may use the Service only if you can legally agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the Service with a parent or legal guardian’s permission. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

2. The Service

Stay Fit provides guided and custom workout routines, exercise logging, timers, progress reports, streaks, goals, measurements, progress photos, reminders, and related fitness features. The app is currently free to download and use, with no subscription, trial, or paid tier for its core features.

The app is designed to work offline and does not require an account. Features, supported devices, and availability may vary by platform, operating-system version, region, or device permissions. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Health and safety

Stay Fit is a general fitness and tracking tool, not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for professional medical advice. Workout routines, exercise instructions, calorie estimates, progress metrics, and suggestions are general information and may not be appropriate for you.

Before beginning or changing an exercise program, consider speaking with a qualified healthcare professional. You are responsible for choosing activities that are appropriate for your condition and experience. Stop exercising and seek appropriate care if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or another concerning symptom. Never use the Service for an emergency.

4. Your content and backups

You keep ownership of the workout history, routines, profile details, measurements, notes, photos, and other material you create or store in the app (“Your Content”). You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to any photo or material you add.

The app stores Your Content on your device. It provides JSON and CSV export tools so you can make and share backups through your device’s share sheet. You choose where an exported file goes, such as Files, Drive, or another storage provider. Keep copies of anything important: uninstalling the app, clearing app data, losing a device, or a device failure may make local data unavailable.

You give Stay Fit permission to process Your Content only as needed to operate features you request on your device. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for an unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
  • interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • scrape, copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without permission; or
  • upload content that infringes another person’s rights or contains malware or other harmful code.

6. Our ownership and license

The Stay Fit name, logo, app, website, design, software, text, illustrations, exercise catalog, and other Service materials are owned by Stay Fit or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and website for your own fitness and informational purposes. No rights are granted beyond that limited license.

We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of exercise guidance, calorie estimates, progress calculations, or other fitness content. Your use of the Service and your exercise decisions are at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or rights that consumer-protection law does not allow us to waive.
