This Privacy Policy explains how Stay Fit (“Stay Fit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Stay Fit mobile application and the website at https://gostay.fit (together, the “Service”). Stay Fit is a free, offline-first workout app. We do not charge a subscription fee to use the core features of the app.

1. Summary
- Workout logs, routines, goals, body measurements, and similar fitness data are stored primarily on your device.
- We do not require an account to use the core offline features of the app.
- Backups and exports are initiated by you. If you share a backup to Google Drive, email, or another app, that destination’s privacy policy applies to the copy you send.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you create in the app
Depending on how you use Stay Fit, the app may store on your device:
- Workout and exercise data (routines, sets, reps, weight, rest times, workout history, streaks)
- Goals, progress reports, and related fitness metrics (for example time trained, estimated calories, workout frequency)
- Body measurements you choose to log (such as body weight, neck, shoulders, chest, arms, waist, forearms, thighs, calves, and body fat percentage)
- App preferences (theme, accent colors, reminder settings)
This fitness and preference data is processed locally on your device so the app can provide logging, progress views, goals, and personalization.
2.2 Device permissions
With your permission where required by your operating system, Stay Fit may access:
- Notifications — to deliver optional daily workout reminders you enable
- Storage / files / share sheet — so you can export, import, or share backup files (for example JSON or CSV) using your device’s system tools
You can revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features (such as reminders or backups) may not work without the related permission.
2.3 Website
When you visit gostay.fit, standard technical data may be processed by our hosting provider (for example IP address, browser type, and request logs) as needed to deliver and secure the website. We do not intentionally collect workout or body measurement data through the marketing website alone.
2.4 What we do not collect by default
Stay Fit is designed to work offline-first. We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address to use core workout logging on your device. We do not sell personal information to data brokers.
If a future version of the Service adds optional cloud sync, account features, analytics, crash reporting, or advertising, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, obtain additional consent before collecting new categories of data.
3. How We Use Information
We use information as follows:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service (workouts, progress, goals, themes, reminders, backup/import)
- To honor your settings and preferences on your device
- To respond to support requests when you contact us (for example via hello@gostay.fit)
- To comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Fitness and preference data stored by the app remains on your device until you delete it within the app (where available), clear app storage/data in your device settings, or uninstall the app.
Uninstalling Stay Fit typically removes locally stored app data, subject to your operating system’s behavior. Backup files you previously exported to other apps or cloud storage are under your control and are not automatically deleted by uninstalling Stay Fit.
If you email us for support, we retain correspondence as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business or legal records.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures designed to protect the Service. Because core fitness data is stored on your device, protecting your device (screen lock, OS updates, careful sharing of backups) is an important part of keeping that information safe. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at hello@gostay.fit and we will take appropriate steps to delete it where applicable.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a copy of information you provided (data portability)
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
For on-device data, you can typically exercise many of these choices directly in the app (edit/delete logs, clear data, export backups) or via your device settings. For requests related to information you sent us by email, contact hello@gostay.fit. We may need to verify your request before responding.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction and believe we process personal data about you, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. International Users
Stay Fit may be used from different countries. If you use the website or contact us, information may be processed in locations where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to protect personal information in accordance with applicable law.
10. Third-Party Links and Stores
The Service may link to third-party sites or app stores (for example Google Play). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies before providing them information.
